Kyle Dexter

Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Kyle Dexter is entering his sixth year at Livingstone College.

Dexter’s responsibilities include overseeing strength and conditioning programs for all 14 varsity sports, serving as an adjunct professor in physical education, and acting as the director of facilities for the athletic department.

Prior to his time at Livingstone, Dexter served as the sports performance coach and personal trainer in private facilities in North Carolina and Virginia.  

Kyle graduated from Shenandoah University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. He also played football for the Hornets and was a two-year starter. He then achieved his master’s in Applied Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago in 2021. 

Coach Dexter currently holds a certification in NSCA-CSCS and ACSM-CEP. He resides with his wife, Michaela, in Salisbury, N.C., and is a native of Lexington Park, Maryland.
