Kayla Symone Price serves as Front Office Operations for Livingstone College Athletics, where she plays a vital role in supporting executive leadership, coordinating departmental initiatives, and ensuring the daily success of athletic operations. She provides strategic leadership and operational oversight in support of collegiate athletics. Recognized as an emerging leader in the industry, she brings experience across professional sports, intercollegiate athletics, and athletic administration, with a commitment to fostering excellence in student athlete development and organizational success.
A native of North Carolina, Kayla is a distinguished tennis player. She achieved a No. 1 ranking in North Carolina, ranked among the Top 25 players in the Southern Section, and earned a place among the Top 100 junior players nationally in her age division. Her success on the court led to an NCAA Division I tennis career at Morgan State University, top 10 in the country where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Administration.
Prior to graduation, Kayla Symone started her career with the Baltimore Ravens, where she gained valuable experience in player personnel. She later earned a Master of Arts in Sport Management from Wingate University, further strengthening her expertise in athletic leadership, administration, and organizational strategy. Committed to continuous professional growth, she also completed a Professional Certification in Digital Marketing through the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, equipping her with modern communication and brand development strategies that complement today’s evolving athletics landscape.
Throughout her career, Kayla has become known for her collaborative leadership style, operational excellence, and strategic approach to athletics administration & branding. Her contributions have been recognized through her selection as a recipient of the Charlotte 30 Under 30 Emerging Leaders Award, 2024, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), receiving the prestigious Region 6 Homer Thompson Memorial "Eight Who Make a Difference" award from the North Carolina High School Athletic Association also becoming the second graduate of Morgan State University to receive 2nd winning player in history.
