CHARLOTTE, NC - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association released its men's basketball predicted order of finish and selected Livingstone College to finish third in the western division.
Livingstone College men finished 14-14 overall last year and will be looking to compete with the upper tier of CIAA this year. Coach James Stinson was very upbeat and was looking forward to his players “Excepting their roles.” Two players Coach Stinson is looking to get a lot out of will be senior guard Tayloe Taylor (Memphis, TN) and junior forward Travis Young (Miami, FL). The two where picked to the 2008-09 All CIAA Pre-Season Men’s Basketball Team.
The Blue Bears of Livingstone College will open their season at home in William J. Trent against the Lions of Mars Hill College at 7:30 p.m. on November 15, 2008.
