Robert Massey-Brice of the Livingstone College football team was named Defensive Linebacker of the Week. This would be the second CIAA honor that Massey-Brice has captured, the first being, Rookie of the Week after the 5th game of season on September 27, 2008.
Massey-Brice is a 5-8, 190 pound freshman from Charlotte, NC. Massey-Brice had a game for the ages. He had a season high 18 total tackles (3 for a loss of 7 yards), 1 forced fumble and 1 interception for a touchdown in the lost to Shaw University on Saturday, October 25, 2008.
Next week, the Blue Bears would be on the road to take on the Broncos of Fayetteville State University in Luther “Nick” Jeralds Stadium, on Saturday, November 1st. Kickoff is for scheduled for 1:00 pm
